PlayStation Network Still Down – Glitch is the Main Cause – Latest Updates and Status – As of this writing, the Sony PlayStation Network is still down. According to Sony, they are still narrowing down the main issue and they are in continuous efforts to restore the service.
The PlayStation Network is down due to a glitch in the system. Sony is currently investigating on this problem and are focused on developing an immediate solution. users from all over the world are still unable to connect to the PlayStation Network due to this down time that has been around for almost a day.
In the most recent update by Sony, they have confirmed that the slim units (120/250 GB models) are connecting to the PlayStation Network normally. The ones that are affected by the PlayStation down time are the older and fatter models of the PlayStation 3. Check back here for more latest updates on the PlayStation Network down time.
